On the 1st of January 2018 Bulgaria took over the Presidency of the European Union for the next six months. The priorities of the Bulgarian presidency are driven by its motto: 'United we stand strong', which is also the motto of the coat of arms of the Republic of Bulgaria. Just a few months before the start, I was approached by the Ministry, responsible for the presidency, with the task to develop the chosen logo and visual identity into a large variety of design products. The biggest and most timely challenging freelance project I had worked on so far, included designs for both outdoor and indoor advertising, packaging design, stationary design, web layouts and marketing materials.
